What do you have in your workspace?
I'm coming up on 4 months at my new job and my cube is still stark. It's like an art form here to have a decorated cube, but I came from a very minimalist company so it's outside my comfort zone. I need to step up my game.

Books read in 2011: 111
Books read in 2012: 100
my read shelf:
Paintings by my kids
Three plants (that I need a reminder in my calendar to remind me when to water)
2 lamps - and I desperately want a third
A couple of cute little storage boxes and baskets
Framed diplomas and law licenses
I'm planning to get an area rug to put under the client chairs across from my desk, but my whole building is getting new carpeting and walls painted soon, so I'm waiting for that to happen so I can coordinate the color.
Our paralegal just moved her cube to a bigger and better one, and she put chevron contact paper up like wallpaper on her shelving, and it looks really nice. She's got pretty baskets for stuff, a few fake plants, lots of pictures and some of those woodcut words and her initials in wood blocks. It's all coordinated and lovely. She calls her whole thing "cube chic." There are entire pinterest boards dedicated to this, apparently. You can google it.
