Mm win!!!

We just got an offer on our rental property. We would literally clear just enough on that house to pay off our mortgage on our current house. Then we would be debt free again! I can't tell you guys how excited I am about this. I'm just hoping now that the inspection period goes off without a hitch. I'm willing o pay for a few repairs, but nothing crazy. The house is in good shape so it shouldn't need anything major. And then closing is in a month, so that is so awesome.
Thanks everyone for the advice earlier on this. It took a while for me to get there, but I'm so glad we went this route.

Yes, it really feels like a weight is being lifted. All the rental apps we were getting we're such crap I couldn't believe it ( drug conviction with a letter, but it was really my friends, and that was just the beginning). I'm happy that this route may actually end up working out great.
Can't wait to hear what the inspection says.

  • And this is what I get for thinking that something could go right with this house. Got the call this morning. The bank reviewed their financial information once they got the contract and said that they no longer qualify for the loan.... Here's hoping another offer will arrive this week :(
