The good and the bad

The bad - I've been spotting since Saturday afternoon, along with mild cramps.  I'm only six weeks still, so they had me go in for a blood draw on Tuesday.

The good - The number came back at 52,000 from my blood draw, and since that's big enough for a scan I get to have an ultrasound next week to make sure everything's okay.  Don't know if I would have gotten one at my appointment in two weeks otherwise since I'm seeing the midwives at my practice... just keeping my fingers crossed that everything is going good in there!

Now you!

Oh no! That sucks. Those are really good numbers though so fx all is well! FWIW I had a full on bleed at 9w (way beyond spotting) and everything turned out ok.

  • Thanks @flamingo86!  Everything is going okay so far, I had an ultrasound where I got to see the heart beating, but I'm still going to be nervous until I can hear it at my next appointment in four weeks.  And then I'll probably still be nervous after that.

  • So glad your appointment went well, and you got to hear the heartbeat.

Not going to lie, I was nervous between every single appointment.  Hearing the heartbeat was a huge sense of relief.
