Saturday - Oil change, playdate at a new park, grocery shopping
Sunday - Church, helping in Sunday school, MIL coming over for dinner
ETA Happy birthday @hoffse !
Fri - bought tickets to a dog costume party and wine tasting at the animal shelter. The wine is donated so all proceeds go to the animal shelter.
Sat - church, cleaning, yardwork. There are a lot of things I would like to do, we'll see how many can fit into the schedule.
Sun - bought tickets to a football watching party with buffet to benefit the children's hospital.
Late to the party, but here is what I did over the last weekend
Friday -- I only work half days on Fridays anyway (4 9s and 4 schedule), and decided to take it off. It was so glorious! I slept in. Vegged on daytime court shows half the day. Finished a novel I've been reading. Plus I am so rarely home by myself. I run on high octane most of the time and just really needed this. I felt so relaxed and refreshed.
I've decided I need to start doing this once a month in months that don't have any holidays.
Saturday -- p/t morning job, trimmed my dog, general cleaning up
Sunday -- Watched some football, big Costco run, baked up a flatbread pizza we bought there
