Rounding out your 2015 reading list

Since we're almost in November already (EEK!) I'm curious to find out what's still on your 2015 reading list? Anything you're making a priority? What do you hope will come up on your Overdrive hold before 12/31? Also, any recommendations that everyone should read before the end of 2015...anything that great you're missing out?

Re: Rounding out your 2015 reading list

  • The sad thing is that I have so many books currently checked out and on hold at the library that there is no possible way I will finish them all by the end of the year.  But a few that I'm particularly anxious to get to are:

    Beastly Bones by Ron Ritter
    Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert
    Welcome to Nightvale
    Rising Strong by Brene Brown
Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling
    Furiously Happy by Jen Lawson
The Lake House by Kate Morton

  • I really want to finish my re-read of the HP books.  I still have four more to go.

I also want to get to Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, The Lake House by Kate Morton and the new Kristan Higgins book that comes out in December.

  • I had hoped to read another presidential bio this year, but that's not likely now.  I have an Alexander Hamilton bio sitting by my bed, and I want to get to that before the next president, and that might happen.  Library e-book holds keep coming up and keeping me from my paper books!

I'm running into this problem too! LIke we said before, all Overdrive holds come up at the same time. I have to put down a paperback to read one that just came up on OD...I guess it's a good problem to have instead of "what to read next?"

I have the Nightengale on my OD hold list. Unfortunately the last time it came up I was in the middle of another rental and wouldn't be able to finish it. Hopefully this comes up by the end of the year, seems like it's a great read.
  • The Nightingale
The Dream Thieves (hope to start tonight) and Blue Lily
    Leaving Time

    I better get moving.

  • The only thing I *really* want to get to before year end is Walk on Earth a Stranger by Rae Carson. And finish Queen of Shadows since I broke down and bought it after my loan ran out at the library before I could finish.
Other than those, I plan to follow my whims.

  • I don't really have any plans but to read new releases on series.

I didn't see that The Raven King had been bumped to 2016.  Now I'm bummed.  I thought it was December.
