6 more Mondays until Christmas
That sounds so weird to me. Haha. And I'm super excited. When I count down that way it makes me want to get the Christmas tree out right now. Which Lily would love. But I'm a stickler for waiting until Thanksgiving weekend (unless I'll be out of town and then and only then will I do it the weekend before).
I still have two gifts to buy and or make. Need to get on that. I wanted to have it all done/completed by Thanksgiving. That way I can focus on the baby's room. Which still needs to be painted before I can do much in there.
And one last Christmas thing - what do you make for Christmas dinner? I know a lot of people do ham after having all the turkey at Thanksgiving. In my family we made several entrees for both holidays. We make both a ham and a turkey at Thanksgiving. And usually another turkey or ham with a traditional german dish of Saurbraten for Christmas. My mom told me that for Thanksgiving this year they are doing a regular turkey, a smoked turkey and a ham. (Crazy crazy). So I'm trying to figure out what to make for Christmas. It will just be Paul, Lily and I as Paul is on call thru Christmas Eve. Ideas??

I have three family parties and it's a combo of turkey and ham. I always love ham at Christmas. Turkey is more Thanksgiving to me. I agree, whatever you decide to do, keep it small and whatever you guys like and is easy to make. = ).
