Re: Thursday Randoms/Confessions

  • I'm in a serious funk this week, and my friends have talked me into joining them at body sculpting class at lunchtime today to try and get me out of my own head.  This should be interesting.
  • I have not been very nice to anyone today. I am quite a crappy mood and should probably just go home and get under my comfy blankets all day. Maybe watch some Vampire Diaries.

  • I guess this would be a random...does anyone drive a Prius?  I'm shopping for new car and would like to hear some opinions on the car from someone who has driven one.

  • The Snuggie is being taken out today. Brrrrrr.

  • The clothing in this post is amazingly horrible. I've never laughed so hard at outfits!
    A little preview...

Yay! If this is fashion, it means I no longer need to alter clothing I buy. All my clothes look like this when I first buy them since I'm so short. LOL. But, yeah....NO!

It was good!  It was a quick under-an-hour full body toning work out.  I borrowed little 2 lb weights from a friend, so it wasn't bad at all.  The ab stuff was a little rough because I NEVER do crunches or anything, but I'm not sore today.  I don't know that it really improved my mood much, but I'm still glad I went.  I'll probably go every week.

I used to have the Prius V.  I absolutely adored it.  It is a zippy little half-station wagon with storage compartments in the trunk and a place for everything.  I so rarely got gas I often forgot where the lever was and looked like an idiot at the gas station.  Probably my favorite car ever.

Unfortunately, it didn't fit 3 5-point harness car seats across the back row, and since we'd just paid off our other car, we traded in the Prius for an SUV.  I've told my husband I'm going to get my Prius back as soon as the babes are all in backless car seats.

I absolutely love mine. It's comfy, the gas mileage is great. The only complaint I have is that it's a bit small. I wish we'd gone with the V instead of the standard model.

Thanks!  I test drove one and liked it.  I usually feel more comfortable driving smaller cars.  I basically just drive for my commute to work which is an hour each way and then around town to the store etc.  We tend to take my husbands car when we are driving the whole family.  He wants to get an SUV so we would still have a larger vehicle.  I have 11 year old twins so we are out of the car seat phase.  I am concerned about how it handles in the snow but it probably couldn't be any worse than the civic I currently drive.  I heard that the air/heat turns off when you stop.  Is that true?  That might suck if you were stuck in traffic but I guess I rarely get stuck in stand still traffic.  I'm usually moving a little. Thanks for your response!
