Book withdrawal (Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover)
Ugh. I finished reading Ugly Love this weekend and I was sooooo sad as I got to the last few pages. That book really gave me all the feels; it had me in tears in parts and I could barely put it down. I love books like that where I feel like I get really connected to the characters and the story. As soon as I finished I wished I hadn't lol. I was really distraught that there was an epilogue that summed it all up too, I was really hoping for a sequel or something.
So now I feel like I'm in withdrawal and I will never find another book I love as much as that one. Dramatic, I know, but I get this feeling everytime I read a book that I fall in love with. My husband laughs and thinks I'm a huge sap for getting so into my books.
Anyone relate to this? Also suggestions for my next read are welcome!!

Or maybe I'm kidding myself? I've read almost all of her books, so I apparently keep going back for more. I did love Miles though. Yum. Did you see who's playing him in the movie? He's BEAUTIFUL.

OMG!!! Okay so apparently I've been living under a rock because I didn't know that a movie is in the works!! How awesome!! And Miles... wow... I wonder if they'll keep it in the same order with the flashback sequences or change it for the film adaptation. Thanks for sharing!!
I agree with you about the emotionally exhaustive plot twists in her books, but I also keep going back for more lol.
I always hope that the actors they choose for film adaptations match what I envisioned as I was reading. I don't really have a solid image for Tate though.
Sidenote: I feel like Colleen Hoover also has a habit of picking unconventional names for her protagonists. Tate, Layken and Ridge for example.
I'm currently reading The Nightingale for another book club, and we're supposed to discuss just the first half after Christmas and I'm already 73% through. Maybe I'll set it aside and read Ugly Love now.
