Mr. Ferris invented the Ferris Wheel for the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago, which is also known for the crazy serial killer from Devil in the White City.  Anyway, he (Ferris, not the serial killer) was my great-grandpa's uncle George.  ;)

Re: @Y_L

  • So... super funny story!  On Cyber Monday I ordered 2 kindle books, both written by women named Jessica.  And then I got them confused.  So this is a reference to Flat Out Love, which was amazing, but written by Jessica Park.  Because I got to the end of the book and it says she hails from the East Coast, which sounded kinda weird, then I looked over my titles, and In Real Life is still marked as a pre-order.

This is basically a random reference to a book written by someone else and should be ignored.

  • Well this is the best post ever!

And I WISH I wrote Flat Out Love! I love that book!
