I finally read 11/22/63 last year. It was my favorite.

Apparently I've very stingy with 5 star ratings. I read 114 books last year and only 8 were 5 star. On top of that, 5 were re reads.

I think the Wayward Pines series was my favorite. The first book was my favorite of them.

13 Reasons Why really stands out, but Wayward Pines was really good too. One of the few second books in a series that wasn't boring. Wild would have to be close to the top too.

SnShne I'm so unfair with ratings I pretty much stopped. I was giving everything 3 stars even though I haven't been disappointed. Not sure why I have such a hard time giving a good review

I give mostly 3s and 4s. Sometimes a 2, and rarely a 1. I feel a little harsh about not giving 5s, but I feel like I need to finish a book with a "wow" to do it. Maybe I just didn't read books with"wow" last year?

I'd have to go with The Martian. I really loved that.

On an interesting side note, I realized that if you took The Bane Chronicles (sub-novellas from the Cassandra Clare Infernal Devices books) and placed them next to one another they make a big image of Magnus Bane. I read it on kindle as one book but it shows up in my GR as the individual pieces. Neat!
