What are you reading?

I'm reading "November 9" by Colleen Hoover via the Crave app. It doesn't give page numbers, which I hate, but according to the app I'm on chapter 12. I've always enjoyed her books, and I'm enjoying the experience of the Crave app, but hate that I can't read more than a chapter a day.

I also just started Kiersten White's "A Chaos of Stars." I don't know how I feel about it yet, as I'm only about 30 pages in. It's a little confusing at first trying to figure out if it's taking place in the past or current (it's current most of the time), even though there are all sorts of gods and goddesses present. I chose the book because of a quote that I found last year... Something I someday hope to get a tattoo of: "And I’d choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I’d find you and I’d choose you."

I'm still re-reading TBH and am also reading 'The Romanov Sisters' by Helen Rappaport. I feel like TBH is more devastating the second time around and I can only handle it in small doses.

I'm listening to Winter at the Door by Sarah Graves.

I'm going to start Stars Over Sunset Boulevard by Susan Meissner this afternoon.

I'm still working my way through A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby and Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas.

I should finish at least one of theme by the end of the weekend.

I'm reading Wildflower by Drew Barrymore. I've always been a huge fan of hers, so I'm really enjoying it. I'm also listening to The Witches by Stacy Schiff, but I won't get to finish it before it's due back. The writing is a bit sensationalistic for my taste but I like the topic.

I'm currently listening to Stardust and I'm really enjoying it.

I'm about to finish After You by Jojo Moyes. Like all her books, it's great. A nice little story.

I've just started Landline.

I just finished Modern Romance in the car, and I have no new audiobook lined up. Hopefully I'll get to the library this weekend to pick something up.

I'm about halfway through listening to Troublemaker by Leah Remini. Really liking that so far.

I'm also about halfway through Life After Life by Kate Atkinson. I'm not sure how I feel about this one. It's a little confusing and slow. I feel like I'm missing something but I'm not sure what.

I'm also reading Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter. I really like this book. I like the writing and I feel like it's different from what I've been reading lately so it's refreshing.

These will be #s 1, 2 and 3 for the year.
