I slipped and fell down a few of our stairs last night and I feel like garbage today. I must be officially old when a fall makes me feel completely crippled.

Wes knows who Donald Trump is and points him out on TV. Pretty much what Jeremy and I watch while Wes is awake is the news and clearly that's a hot topic. I'm worried. Now I keep pointing out my campaign pick and repeating their name so hopefully I can eradicate that name from his vocabulary.

He's 3, I know he doesn't "get" it. I'm still clutching my pearls.

In Nursery school I remember getting in trouble for pointing to a page in Robin Hood (the Disney version) book to Fryer Tuck saying "that looks like Gov. X" at the time. Apparently it was funny, but rude. I had no idea, I just remember my dad saying how overweight this gentleman was.

My confession is that I have a love hate relationship with Married at First Sight and I'm mad at myself for it. I'm not loving the couples this season, yet I feel bad for the woman on the preview that her husband will get caught trying to pick up other women. I don't know what I expect from a show where you marry a stranger.

ELi has a dr appointment at 2:30 today, and I'm sitting here wondering if 12:30 is too early to leave work for that. I'm so tired of this week at work. But next week might be worse. Ugh.

Also, his appointment should be done and done by 3:30, and I have no intention of picking DD up from school that early, so I'm trying to decide what Eli and I should do until its time to pick her up. I'm between the library and Target shopping, and leaning toward Target/TJ Maxx shopping even though we really don't NEED anything, just because then he'll contained in a shopping cart.

I bought two things with the birthday money my MIL gave me. One is a contraption that allows me to ride my bike inside the house like an exercise bike, I love it even though I'm hella out of shape.

The other thing...well, it's very silly. I bought myself a a Fushigi ball. Mainly because I want to be a badass like David Bowie (HBD, Bowie!) in Labyrinth (ok, ok, like the contact juggler standing behind David Bowie making it look like Bowie was spinning the balls). I am such a nerd. I have it at work and I mess with it when I'm thinking and I hope one day to be able to actually do cool tricks, esp. the one below.

There's a cupcake contest at the town library on Valentine's day. I really want to enter, but I'm nervous. I don't do well when I'm on display. They have two categories that I could enter. Taste and decoration. I don't know which one to enter if not both. I have a couple tried and true recipes, but I now I feel like branching out. But a month doesn't leave me too much time to really practice. Decisions, decisions.

Daycare called earlier today when I was out running errands and my first thought wasn't that she got hurt but "Damn it, do I need to pick her up early because she's not feeling well?". I was looking forward to having a few more hours to myself. (She had a fever and she's napping upstairs).

The turn your bike into an exercise bike tool sounds awesome. I want to get an inexpensive bike to ride in the summer, that contraption could help justify the reason to buy a new one. I haven't ridden a bike in so long though I do hope it would really be as easy as "riding a bike"

You have to have a bike with quick release wheels to use it, FYI. My dad worked for a bike shop part time several years back and he got discounts so I have much more bicycle than I really need but having that quick release doobobby let me get the stand for it and put it to better (read: any) use.

It's my anniversary!!! 11 years of wedded bliss.

We're not going to celebrate until next weekend when money isn't so tight. Dinner at a nice steakhouse and dessert at Cheesecake factory. I can't wait!!!

Another random: I started binging Pretty Little Liars over a week ago and I am now halfway through Season 2. I'm obsessed with this show. Now I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to start watching it.

So I'm weird and eat donuts, muffins and cupcakes with a fork because they're just too messy to eat with my hands. A bunch of us had to come into work this morning so one of the managers brought in a bunch of donuts. I can't find a fork anywhere so I am currently sitting at my desk eating a chocolate glaze donut with a soup spoon. #eatingfail

I am irrationally angry with Chipotle. This is, by far, my favorite veggie burrito ever and yet they can't stop making people sick with e. coli and stuff.... UGH.

Also, my confession is motherhood is absolutely the hardest job ever. Especially breastfeeding.
