New Anne of Green Gables?

I'm scared.  I still watch this version on the regular.  I love it so much.

Re: New Anne of Green Gables?

  • Confession:

I don't know it's because I grew up near and toured this house as a child, but I will forever associate The House of Seven Gables with Anne of Green Gables.  As far as I know they are not linked in any way, but somewhere in the back of my head this is Anne's house and it took place in New England and now PEI.

  • Where do you find AOGG to watch? I loved that and Avonlea. I don't want a re-make, the whole cast just had such magic leave well enough alone.

I own them on DVD. Is that really lame?

Before that I taped them on TV from PBS, including the telethons. haha.

  • Confessions: I've never read or seen Anne of Green Gables or Avonlea.

I have been to the House of Seven Gables, though.  I got in trouble for disappearing into a closet that I guess was off limits, but no one told me that until they couldn't find me.  Oops.

Not at all. I was going to binge this weekend if it was avb. via Netflix. My bucket list includes a trip to PEI so I can be like Anne with an E <3

  • Gilbert was my very first movie crush.  Sigh.

  • How does one go from Breaking Bad to Anne of Green Gables?  I will probably watch it, because I loved Anne growing up, but I'll have to reserve any judgment until I know who is cast.
