MM Win - Coffee & Side tables

I'm so excited about this.  We are using a portion of our bonus to furnish our family room.  We still have hand-me-downs from college, and they are mismatched and way too small for the space.

Anyway, as we all know furniture has a huge price range.  We set a budget that we hoped would get us something nice, but not so expensive that we would be afraid to use it.

We've been all over town and finally found this place that is basically a furniture salvage and antique store.  They dismantle old pieces and use scrap wood to rebuild new pieces.  They also do commissions.

We scored a salvaged coffee table and side table, and we actually commissioned a second side table to match.  The total price was about $500 less than our budget for all three pieces - and that includes the commission!  We are so thrilled to find this place.  They can build just about anything, and we love that they are local and using recycled materials.  We were also more than happy with the price!

Pics below.  Apologies for the mess - we're keeping them in our garage until some other stuff comes in. They are pretty dirty/dusty from being in the workshop, and they need a good cleaning and oiling.  But we think they'll be great in our space once cleaned up!
