  • Where are you at in your TTC journey? Scheduled with new RE tomorrow to discuss options moving forward (most likely donor egg). We are trying to decide whether or not to see an additional RE who is only charging $4800/IVF cycle + meds (which is a steal around here), but that office doesn't do donor cycles. We'll see how tomorrow goes first.

    Any testing coming up? Will find out tomorrow. Hopefully, not much though!

    Anything good or bad happening? (TTC wise or just in life..) Nothing major, just busy with work. I do have this weird chest pain without any other symptoms which is kind of stressing me out though. My PCP has ordered a CT scan, so FX that it's just something minor and stupid like a pulled muscle or something.

    QOTW: Favorite Superbowl commercial last night? I liked the Amazon one with Alec Baldwin and Dan Marino best.  :))

    Anniversary

  • Well, since I've been busy this week, I am just now getting to this.

    Where are you at in your TTC journey? Still waiting. CD64. :( And my chart is all over the place.

    Any testing coming up? Because I'm going to CA for work in 10 days, I definitely didn't want to start AF while there. So I'll test the morning I leave (CD74) and go from there. I figured taking Provera while out there is better than being miserable with AF visiting. Other than that, nothing. I have to figure out if my OB/GYN will take my new insurance so I can go ahead and schedule my yearly in May and get going on the next step. Because my body is obviously not wanting to work on its own.

    Anything good or bad happening? (TTC wise or just in life..) So, those of you that are FB friends with me saw that I fell last night on my walk home. I stepped onto some gravel (the roads are messed up around here because of all the chemicals from snow treatment) and my left ankle completely went out on me. There was popping. :( Down I went, maybe 500 feet from my apartment building. I tried to catch myself...but my right knee and right elbow are banged up and my right arm is so sore. And my left ankle...is not appreciative of what the right side of my body went through. It could at least be swollen or purple or something. Nope. No swelling, no discoloration. I think my tendon just popped or something, which is does occasionally (but not in so flourishing a fashion). Anyway, this weekend is going to be interesting...we're going to Charlottesville, VA and I can guarantee that I can't wear nice shoes for a nice dinner. Poop.

    QOTW: Favorite Superbowl commercial last night? I was meh on the commericals. The Super Bowl babies one with Seal was hilarious. I was highly disturbed by puppymonkeybaby and the Doritos commerical. Also, there were no Clydesdales! I was sad.

  • Nothing new here. I did contact the RE and am making some decisions about when we will do FET. I wanted to late this summer, but it may not work out. I didn't love any of the commercials. I was kind of disappointed. And @FutureMrsWright2012 we are still planning a trip!! I'll send you details when I know more.

  • Stupid mobile! I was trying to reply earlier this week when I had a chance, but mobile wasn't cooperating.

    @lfk2013 - Sorry to hear about your fall! Yuck! Hope you're healed up now that you're making your way on the wine tour. ;) BTW, I totally agree about both disturbing commercials! WTH?

    @ILoveRedVino - GL as you decide next steps and timing for FET!

    AFM - First, chest pain seems to be mostly resolved, but as I was looking over stuff getting ready for my new RE appt this week, I came across an old MRI report (from 2010) that indicated that I have a renal aneurism. I don't know how I or everyone else missed this! I don't think it's related to the chest pain, but now I feel like I should probably get that checked out! I guess there's a big concern about rupture during pregnancy (specifically 3rd tri).. Of freaking course... 8-}

    Second, RE appt was... ummm... interesting. Based on my numbers, this RE thinks that I have a chance of still recruiting more eggs for my own IVF cycle. He thinks that I just failed previous RE's protocol and has ideas on how to have better luck next time. Truthfully though, I'm pretty skeptical, particularly since he is basing this on numbers from a year ago. Also, I've sort of gotten to the point where I'm acceptant of donor egg. We're going to be meeting with the "blue light special" RE and another RE that I know from work before we make any final decisions. It is exciting to think that we have more options now though.

    Thank you @sweetpotato123 and @islandmonkey8 for thinking of me!

    Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
