I started The Raven Boys

And I'm really enjoying it. I don't know why I put it off for so long. It definitely has a little bit of a Dangerous Creatures vibe to it but is still different enough to keep my interest. I'm doing the audio book in the car, and the only real drawback to that is that I sometimes don't know how things are spelled, specifically some of the character names. It's silly, I know, but since I'm such a visual person it makes me a little nutty.

I've already put the second book on hold. :)

  • You might want to think about a hold for the third as well.  You're going to want them back to back.  They're phenomenal.

  • I tend to be a slow adopter when books are trendy. The third HP book was out before I deigned to read them, and I had to be coerced by a coworker. I'm willfully stubborn about such things, and yet...I'm rarely disappointed when I cave. I can't help my pigheadedness. ;-)

  • I loved this series on audiobook!  I love how the narrator says "Gansey" and I literally LOL whenever he does Persephone's voice.

I love these book on audio. I've listened/read on my Kindle at least once a year since they came out.
I know what you mean though about wanting to know how things are spelled when listening to audiobooks. I usually go look them up at the library or bookstore.
By the way, the name of the boys' school is spelled Aglionby.
