So Long Unemployment!!!
BF got a job. YAY! He signed the paperwork yesterday. He got the title he wanted, a decent raise & its 2-miles from home. It's been a LONG 5+ months!! Unemployment stinks!! I knew he'd get a job, but the process is so darn stressful. if he didn't land this position, he was going to be really depressed. He applied to 42(!) jobs & never even heard back from most. it's tough out there! We're celebrating with a (very) last minute vacation. Not sure where but we're jumping on a plane & going SOMEPLACE this weekend.
I know there are a few other people on the board dealing with unemployment -- i'm sending positive thoughts to the universe!!

Congratulations!!! That is awesome news. Love the idea of a "we don't know where we're going, but we're going somewhere" celebration.
Unfortunately, my H is one of those now in the perpetually unemployed group. He's gone on several promising interviews...and was even given a job offer, only to have the person he would be replacing decide not to leave...but just hasn't landed anything. It is really tough and he gets so depressed after each unsuccessful interview.
I'm rubbing your post on my computer screen for luck, lol.
