Wacky Wednesday

I want to add some life to this board, but I can't think of a good question. I'll start with something, perhaps the next post could answer and write another one and go on from there?

Name a book you want to read, but wouldn't buy or tell anyone read because it's more guilty pleasure.

Re: Wacky Wednesday

  • I'm struggling to think of a book I'd be ashamed to tell people I read because I like it/it's a guilty pleasure.  But there are several sex books out right now that I want to read (Come As You Are tops the list) that I wouldn't post about on Goodreads or anything since I have colleagues who don't really need to know I'm brushing up on my technique :)

    What's your current unpopular opinion?

  • I think yoga pants should be banned from being worn in public. J/K but, seriously, I have seen way to many people wearing them lately that should absolutely not be seen in public with them on. I feel like I should shield my son's eyes sometimes. If I can tell where your cellulite is located, then your pants should only be worn at home.

If you nominate anyone, dead or alive, for POTUS, who would you pick?

Robert F. Kennedy. We need more tolerance and acceptance in the world.

If you could fix anything about physical self (health or aesthetic), what would it be?

    For fun, I'll say - I'm a small A cup and I think I'd like to be a nice full B cup.

What's your annual book budget? How much do you actually spend on books for the year?

OMG, I don't know for sure, but it is likely above a thousand. At least. I'm pretty sure my Library grows by over 100 books per year.

What's your favorite ride at Disney (land/world)? If you've never been, do you want to, or do you have no interest?

I'm jealous of 100+ books a year. Trying to be reasonable and keep to the 3 shelves of stuff I haven't read, but I never get to those, just buy more.

I've only been to Disney once last year, selfishly I loved the Little Mermaid ride because she's my all time favorite...and I hate roller coasters so even that Goofy one for kids scared me. I actually swore on Space Mountain.

Name a TV show you wish they'd add to Netflix/Hulu that you have or haven't seen that you would just spend 2/3 days bingeing.

I'd love to watch The Facts of Life. Showing my age, I know. But I loved that show! What's the one thing you splurge on that is for yourself and only for you?
I write sexy books. I read all the books. I love dresses & macarons.

Confession: I asked for and got a few season of The Facts of Life on DVD for Christmas. :)

The one thing I splurge on is LuLaRoe Leggings and dresses. I'm obsessed with that clothing.

What was the last truly great book you read?

    I really loved Amanda Palmer's
The Art of Asking. I wasn't expecting it to move me quite like it did, but she's just so refreshingly REAL!

What is something you are dying to try but are also too scared to attempt?
