**SITB**Nice! My parents are there right now!
  • Friday - Hockey game.  It's coming down to the end and it's not looking like we're going to the playoffs... and we're playing the best team in the NHL (Capitals).  Upside is my BFF is surprising her H with tickets to the game, he's a Caps fan, so we will get to hang out some.  She told him they are going to a fundraising gala for her high school LOL!

Saturday - No real plans.  I really need to get some housework done, so my plan is to attack the kitchen and our bathroom and do a good deep cleaning.  Also need to do "special" laundry loads, like delicates or hand wash stuff.

Sunday - Nothing planned during the day, have a hockey game in the evening.

Also need to do grocery shopping and a quick Costco trip too.
  • Friday - Get gas!!!!  Desperately need.  Hoping I make it 1/10th of a mile to the gas station when I get off work, lol.  Which is really obnoxious, because I prefer to go to Costco and was planning to swing by there anyway on my way home, but I'm worried I wouldn't make it the extra 2 miles.  Somehow I went from having 30 miles left in the tank yesterday when I went home, to now it is only 6.  Though I've actually only driven about 7-8 miles in that timeframe.  I realize it is more art than science and not to be depended on.  I was just hoping it would last until I got to Costco today, but now it's too close to chance it.

Than I'm picking up my H to meet our realtor at a showing for a duplex we are going on today.

Saturday - p/t job in the morning, extended same p/t job in a nearby suburb (they are between reps there).  Hopefully have some showings scheduled for a rental ad I just put up.  Probably stop at Sam's Club (might do that Friday)

Yes, I'm a glutton for punishment and have a membership at both Costco and Sam's.  But I got the Sam's one for about $10 with a Groupon, so I bit for the 2-3 things they carry that I buy, that Costco does not.

Sunday - my relax day...though same hopeful thought from Saturday.  More showings scheduled from my rental ad.

Friday: DH has to chaperon a dance and I'm at work today, so it'll be a quick dinner before he leaves for the night. DD#2 has been sick all week with high fever/virus thing so my parents are watching her today. Seems to be on the mend.
Saturday: Grocery shop, laundry, vacuum, get DD#2's birthday invitation ordered. Dinner with DH's parents.
Sunday: Visit with family about an hour away- should be home by dinner.

@Mustard76 Have fun in Vegas! How long are you staying for?

Friday - I worked until midnight last night because it was end of quarter and I am just beat. Luckily my manager gave me a free "half day" so I'm about to go into mobile email monitoring mode and log off from my computer. I might hang out with my mom and my sister and my niece tonight.

Saturday - H and I will spend the day getting ready for our trip to Asheville. It's his 30th birthday on Monday so I'm debating just giving him his gift tomorrow evening since it's a little bulky and we won't need it on our trip so it's one less thing to pack.

Sunday - Leave for our week-long trip to Asheville, NC!! Can't wait! I haven't been there since I was in college and it was only a brief day trip..so this is going to be a lot of fun since I'm 1. Old enough to drink 2. Not on vacation with family and 3. We're going with two really good friends of ours and they are bringing their dog (so are we) so it's seriously going to be a blast!
  • Tonight - not sure but probably hang at home Saturday - work on the yard. Dh needs to spray weeds, take the tarps off the patio furniture, bring out some outdoor toys of dds. I'd like to get my car detailed and check out the At Home store. Sunday - possibly yoga and I need to deep clean

  • @labro we're going Sunday-Thursday. Have fun on your trip, too! @vlagrl29 I LOVE At Home! In my experience, they're really all over the map when it comes to quality, but you can find just about everything there. The two stores I've been in are huge. They just opened one close-ish to us now. I'll probably check it out when we're home from vacation.
  • Today is going to be interesting.  A friend of mine offered me a free ticket to the ladies world figure skating finals in Boston tonight.  It sounds like she just needed someone to join her who would enjoy the event and be a good companion.  I'm really excited!  I'm a bit behind on current figure skating news, but I took lessons as a kid and loved it.  I'll have to get my friend a drink and/or dinner to thank her.

Tomorrow morning we are going to a fundraising breakfast for our state Envirothon program, which I volunteer for as a judge.  I'm really pumped-$10 tickets for an all you can eat spread.  The program gets over half of the proceeds, so everybody wins.  Tomorrow evening I'm teaching a dive class.
