Update

I went to the doctor yesterday, and baby is fine, but I seem to be working my way towards preeclampsia. My blood pressure wasn't that high, but higher than normal, and I had the protein in my urine and I've been having some swelling. So it looks like she may not be staying in as long as I would have liked. But there's nothing definite yet.

Re: Update

  • I'm sorry to hear this. I hope your baby girl can stay in there as long as possible and you don't go into full blown Pre-E.

  • Thanks. I checked my blood pressure yesterday, and it was high, but not what the doctor would consider high.

Also, what does one wear to a job interview at 9 months pregnant?

  • I'm glad your blood pressure wasn't high according to the doctor. I understand why you are still worried though. I'm the same way about not knowing where my levels are for my thyroid.

As far as the interview maybe a nice black skirt (if you have a maternity sized one) and a nice shirt. Or a maternity dress. I'm sure people will understand if you aren't as fancy as you'd normally be.

  • I have some nice pants and a nice shirt that I was thinking about. Should I still wear the blazer even if I can't close it? Cause it fits otherwise.

I don't think you need it. I never wear a blazer to interviews. If you want to I don't see why you couldn't. When are you planning to go back to work?

  • I would saw yes on the Blazer. I think it just makes you look a little more professional.

Sorry about the Pre-E.  I hope it all works out!
  • I wasn't planning on it, but a part time k-3 STEM teacher position opened up at the school that's less than a mile from my house. I figured I at least needed to apply.
