Can we bitch about how annoying the resetting password stuff is? We're already on life support on this board and now they're making it harder for people to log on and get here?? Grr!

I reset my silly password yesterday...today it has me reset it again. Ugh I hate barriers and agree it would be nice to get some life back on this board.

I think we need to come up with another permanent solution. I know I'm not that active lately, but I agree that this is going to kill the board. There's always PB and the new PB we set up awhile ago. We'll still have the same problem of it being slow, though. I've accepted slow, but I don't think that I can accept a NBC shutdown.

I don't recall what the apocalypse plan is. I know that we discussed it and established a bunker on PB, but I don't know how to find it. Does anyone currently use the bunker on PB?

I haven't been on FB in about a month, either, so I'm also missing whatever conversation is happening over there. This NBC sitch might be enough to get me back on FB. Other then the NBC Baby Mamas, I really haven't been missing FB at all, though.

I lurk over on PB occassionally. I did see that they are expecting an influx of Nesties because of these changes.

I've peeked at their Book Club board. They don't seem like a bad group. Nobody was extolling the virtues of E.L. James or anything.

We could probably join them if we wanted.

I think we should make the fallout bunker a sticky post. I would do it but I have no idea how.

Since I can still post, I don't want to change my password, because I'm skeptical that this is just some kind of phishing attack.

That's how far I trust The Nest tech people.

Plusalso, I recently had to do a refresher on computer security, and for half the examples, I kept thinking, "Yeah, I did that to The Knot once. Yeah, and that... Oooh, they left so many holes..."

Huh. I can post now. For days I couldn't even get to the site and then it wouldn't recognize my user name. I have loved being here but I'm pretty done with the nest. I just don't trust them.

I know I don't post here very often but I'm a regular lurker. I haven't had any issues logging in either. But if y'all decide to evacuate to the nearest bunker I'll be there. I hope this also brings the old regulars back.
