Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Student Loans PAID
I have not checked in for some time now. But I wanted to update that my student loan payment is done!!!
I sent in my final online payment February 19th for $2140.52 to pay it off!!! It started at ~54k in 2006.
I didn't get intense with pay off til January 2015 when it was about $26500
IM ALL DONE with Sally Mae!!!!!!!!
We were going to pay off our van but we came upon a chance to buy 8 acres of land from a family friend -she's 94 years old and we were afraid not to jump on it since once she passes the heirs may not subdivide this section of her farm estate. She offered it to us at below market and we have 50% cash saved. We will finance the remaining amount and have that paid off in less than a year. Then plan the build!!!
