Spam me your red wine recipes
I want to make braised lamb shanks this week, but I'll have about a half bottle of red wine left over that I can't drink! What else can I make with it? FI won't eat beef, so that cuts out a lot of typical red wine recipes, and he doesn't like mushrooms, so coq au vin is out. I found a recipe for grilled ham and cheese with strawberry wine jam, but it only calls for 2 tbsp of wine. Anyway, spam me!
Re: Spam me your red wine recipes
Add red wine and chicken stock (50/50 blend), cover, and let simmer for 30-45 minutes. Until the cabbage is soft.

This reminds me of a funny article I read that was titled something like, "The Difference Between Real Women and Martha Stewart"...one of the bullet points was:
Martha Stewart says, "Put leftover wine in an ice cube tray and use the cubes for recipes that call for wine."
Real women, "What leftover wine?"
