My entire day and weekend will be consumed by this: http://bigslickkc.org

It's completely awesome, but completely exhausting - I'm already looking forward to next weekend!

  • Friday - work from home, have a company coming in about the upstairs bathroom, game night with DH's family, maybe go swimming there if the pool is warm enough.

Saturday- errands, grocery shop, hang out, go swimming.Hope to get a quilt bound this weekend too.

Sunday- Father's day brunch with all grandparents and the 4 of us. It's where we got married (it'll be 10 years this year!), so it's a special treat to go there every year, eat really good food, and take a few family photos. Weather is usually really nice too!

Driving 5 hours today to spend Fri-Mon with my family.
H is getting paid by the hour so he is going to spend time with his family instead and work regular hours Fri and Mon.

We have a couple of family parties planned so I'm excited to see a lot of people that I only see about once a year.

I'm hoping to have some downtime while visiting my parents so I can work on our family budget and get some work done on a couple of projects.
  • Friday- I'm really hoping to leave work about 30 minutes early to make it to my niece's baseball game. If I'm not able to get out early, H and I will go to our local street fair that starts tonight.

Saturday- I have to go into work for about an hour in the afternoon. After that, we're meeting some friends and hopefully my cousins in the beer tent at the street fair. Now that we're back in our hometown, it's like a high school reunion in there. It should be fun.

Sunday- If we're feeling OK after Saturday's beer garden adventure, we'll head up to the city and meet my uncles for lunch. We should have a pretty light week as far as cleaning and grocery shopping, so not a whole lot of errands.

Sounds awesome! Enjoy! We'll be relaxing and cleaning tonight. Tomorrow is a close friend's bridal shower and then going to a festival called Waterfire with my cousin and his new wife. Sunday we're relaxing. My dad's too busy to hang out with us!

Friday: Working all day, mowing the lawn tonight.

Saturday: Early Father's Day with my dad. We're taking him out for some gourmet donuts! Then I'm babysitting my niece while my sister and BIL attend a wedding. She started WALKING last night at 8 1/2 months so I am scared/nervous/excited.

Sunday: More yard work because it is literally never-ending.
  • Today - going to the pool and staying in tonight

Saturday - clean, run a couple errands and meet in laws for dinner

Sunday - spending the day at the lake
