Friday - studying & pizza night

Saturday - taking comps in the morning in Tuscaloosa and then studying for another exam in the afternoon

    Sunday - taking an exam

Meanwhile, H will be getting his eyes checked and cleaning the house for me.  It's going to be a pretty boring weekend at our house!

  • Friday - depending on how late I stay at work I might start ripping down some old molding in our hallway to prep it for painting. Otherwise it might be a Target run followed by glass of wine on the couch lol

Saturday - cleaning the house and having friends over for a board game night.

Sunday - small BBQ and puppy play date at our house.

I'm going to need a day alone in a quiet room after two days of entertaining!
  • I'm sitting at work trying not to kill my boss. :)

  • Tonight: Grabbing a Redbox. I also need to vacuum the pool and hopefully get a couple loads of laundry done.

Tomorrow: H is possibly going to Wisconsin for a car thing. So it will just be DD and I. I have a ton of stuff I really need to get done. So we'll start off the day with weighing in at Weight Watchers (hit my goal so just maintenance weigh ins now. Woot!) and running to the bank.
Then I have a huge list of house stuff I need to get done. Hopefully DD will cooperate for me to be able to knock those out. My hope is that I can get that stuff done in the morning/early afternoon and then her and I can just hang out the rest of they day. Maybe get in the pool or go for a jog.

    Sunday: Church then nothing.

Fri - early out from work, getting a massage, house work, late dinner with a grad school friend that is in town for the weekend.  BnB guests will arrive for a one night stay and we will probably spend some time greeting them.

Sat - spending most of the day at a very cool free event by our neighborhood then a mystery shop at a very fancy restaurant in the city

Sun - possibly going back to the the free event.  Getting some work done around the house and in the yard.  Going to zumba if I'm up to it.  Possible evening movie in the park if the weather is nice and we are up to it.

We'll be pretty busy but close to home most of the weekend so I expect to have enough downtime and productive time.
I'm really excited to see my friend for dinner tonight.  It is nice to have a friend that puts effort into maintaining a friendship and suggesting plans--those kinds of friends seem to be the minority sometimes.

Friday - Straighten up the house, mow the lawn, clean out the fridge

Saturday - Pack and leave for the Florida Panhandle for the BEACH!

Sunday - Drink mimosas and get skin cancer at the beach. CAN'T WAIT!
  • Camping!

OK it's glamping in our camper at a state park that is in a town like 30 minutes from here LOL   But it was the only place within a 2 hour drive from our house that we could find to get reservations when we were looking 2 months ago.  I'm still excited because it'll get us out of the house and from what I can tell, the spot we have is pretty good, with all the "neighbors" behind us, vs us having to stare at them.  Some friends are going to come up for the afternoon to hang out on Saturday.

We learned for next year, that we need to book our trips in March/April to have a chance at a reserved spot pretty much anywhere remotely mountainy that's close enough for a weekend trip.

Friday -- work a half day.  I stayed up too late and am exhausted.  I have two retail mystery shops to do today.  I am debating just sucking it up and getting them done right after work or going home to take a nap first.

Friend came into town this morning from So. CA.  Oddly enough, I met her out here in NOLA when she lived here, but we grew up just a few towns apart in SoCal.  She moved back there a few years ago.  I was excited to be able to hook her up with a free room offer I had at the downtown Harrahs hotel.  We might be doing Happy Hour later at one of my favorite restaurants.  On Saturday, H and I will be going out to dinner with her and her b/f.  Then maybe some bar hopping in the French Quarter.

We all might have brunch on Sunday also but, other than that, Sunday will be "stay at home and relax" day.

  • Friday- NOTHING! And I can't wait!

Saturday- my dad is coming back to my house to fix my new lights and I am either staining or painting an old shipping crate and turning it into an outdoor table. I haven't really decided yet.

Sunday- going to lunch with my cousin and cleaning up around the house. I think H is leaving town to go visit his parents for a few days. We'll see if that's still he plan.
  • Today-Baseball game after work with DH, DD, and some coworkers!

Saturday-Whale watching tour. We didn't realize we could only get to the place by ferry. Although we had purchased these tickets back in April or March, we didn't budget for the ferry. It looks expensive, like $50ish+.But there is no way to drive to the island.

    Sunday-Relax and clean!

Side note: Today was supposed to be pay day. There was a human error at the payroll company. So no one got paid today. We will get it Monday. I am not freaking out because I have money in the bank and my small efund. I feel like I am adulting super hard today!

  • we were at the pool yet again for about 4 hours this afternoon.  Both DD and I are getting pretty awesome tans this summer.  Tonight we stayed in, grilled dinner, and watched a movie DD wanted to see.  Can't remember what it was called something along the lines of dreams come from heaven. Cute movie.

Saturday - I need to catch up on cleaning while DD is with the in laws all day and night.  DH and I are meeting a couple friends for dinner.  I'm looking forward to a date night.

Sunday - Meet the in laws for lunch and to pick up DD - not sure about the rest of the day.
  • We have a busy weekend getting caught up on life.

Friday - We grabbed Panda Express and found a new Netflix series to watch together.

Saturday - We went on a coffee walk (Yay for an Einstein coupon which made coffee and breakfast for two less than $5).  H is now mowing, and later I need to trim the hedges.  I also need to visit Sprouts, Costco and drop off a bag of clothes at the dry cleaners.  We'll also spend a chunk of time writing - H is working on a book and has less than 15% to go, so he's anxious to finish a few chapters.  And I've started a blog, so I need to get my first few articles and my "about me" section finished and posted.

Sunday - We're volunteering at the local homeless aid organization where I'm on the board, and then finishing up the things we didn't get done on Saturday!
