Re: Weekend Plans?
Friday- Dog's haircut, shopping, dinner out
Saturday- It will finally be cooler to get some yard work done! I need to paint the window trim in our bedroom so I can hang the new curtain panels I bought
Sunday- Maybe have parents over for dinner so they can help us replace our new toilet we are getting tonight. Glad to be getting smaller inside house projects done finally!
I am off Monday and Tuesday too, so H and I will just be doing a few things...maybe some bike riding, mini golf, tennis...who knows!
Tonight we're going to walk to the shopping center near our house (about a mile away) for dinner and then come home and find a new show to watch. (We just finished Stranger Things, which was good.)
Saturday morning I have a baby shower for a sorority sister, and then while I'm near a Costco, I'll probably swing by there as well as the dry cleaners.
Last weekend I started a blog. On Sunday, I plan to release a four or five part series on creating a budget. Fun!
Saturday: volunteering for our church fundraiser
Sunday: church then leaving for vacation
Fri - early out at work. I am going to use a Groupon to get my eyebrows threaded. I'm nervous about it! Later we might go to Spaghetti Warehouse for $6 lasagna day and/or to a free concert in the park depending on weather.
Sat - Get stuff done around the house, relax a little and then going out for an evening on my friend's boat.
Sun - No plans yet other than watching Sharknado 4. It should be a relaxing day. My back is starting to feel better so I might try to get back into Zumba.
Saturday - Headed home in the morning while H does some trial prep. We'll probably do our errands and relax in the afternoon
Sunday - H will do more trial prep, and I'll study a bit. Then relaxation in the afternoon
It's going to be the slowest weekend we've had in a long time, and I can't wait!
Saturday - Celebrating my birthday and my BIL's birthday with family. Mine was yesterday and his is next week so we decided to combine celebrations this year. I'm bringing mac n cheese and my BIL is smoking ribs and chicken wings! Can't wait!!
Sunday - Picking up my German cousin from the airport. She's coming to visit for a week before starting her internship.
Friday -- Walmart trip for a few things, but not as big as usual.
Saturday -- New tenants moving into the 4-bedroom side of my other duplex. Exciting! But it will only be a whopping $120 on their move-in day. They are on Section 8 (housing assistance) and, from what I've heard, there is about a one month lag for Section 8's portion the first month's rent (which is over 90% of it). But, it's all good, I'm patient.
Filed for an extension on my tax returns back in April. No reason, other than I am a procrastinator with things I hate...like doing taxes. But finally going to buckle down and get those done...because now I HAVE to in order to get a loan for the property I am under contract on, lol. Not that it came as any surprise.
Sunday -- Nothing but relaxing.
Friday - our town is having a street festival tonight so if it stops raining we'll walk over and probably have dinner at one of the awesome small restaurants on the street where the festival is taking place.
Saturday - cleaning/cooking for the week and, if we get it all done, probably take the dog out for a canoe ride. basically relaxing and not having any set timeline which I am SO EXCITED for.
Sunday - a lunch date at a brewery with a couple of friends. They are the exception to my "no set plans" rule for this weekend because we haven't been able to spend quality time with them in MONTHS because their daughter has been in the hospital. Since she's home now we're catching up.
Saturday - helping DH pack up his studio all day
Sunday - finishing any packing in the afternoon if necessary - if not I plan on cleaning around the house.
Tonight - no plans. I need to cook dinner because I've got two chicken breasts sitting in my fridge, they've been defrosted for 2 days.
Saturday - My car is getting the front (side) windows tinted, so H is going to pick me up and I'm making him go to a home store with me to look for patio stuff on clearance. Speaking of, our patio will hopefully, maybe be done on Saturday! They've been at it for a week and a half, and it's getting close. Then, they can start on the rest of the landscaping next week. Saturday evening I think we'll BBQ with the neighbors then hang out around their firepit (since ours won't be done yet I don't think).
Sunday - No real plans, except putting together the patio furniture we bought 2 months ago on a sale, it's in a huge box in our garage that's taking up a ton of space. Otherwise, the usual stuff... laundry etc.
Friday - suppose to go a kayak program tonight, but it's raining at the moment so we will see
Saturday - cleaning & laundry, grocery shopping
Sunday - finish cleaning
At some point over the weekend I'm hoping that hubby will start on the next piece of furniture he said he would build me. He built me a coffee table out of reclaimed wood from the 1800's and now I want a matching side table.
Also as part of cleaning, going to group husband's clothing for sale. He had gastric bypass surgery in February and it's time to get rid of clothes. Trying to put it together & sell it on buy/sell boards in the area.
