  • Where are you at in your TTC journey?
    Month 14

    Any testing coming up?

I'll probably test on Sunday (10DPO).  If that's negative then I'll likely wait out AF.  Maybe.  I'm a pee pusher and have zero willpower though.

Anything good or bad happening? (TTC wise or just in life..)
If this cycle is a dud then we're going to prevent for a couple of months until we have the rest of the money saved to go to Hawaii in the winter.  Once it's saved (hopefully by end of Oct), we'll start again.

FFC/AW of the Week (no rules):
The county fair is going on this week and it's less than a mile from my office.  My boss is also on the fair board so he'll bring us lunch whenever we want.  Hello corn dog, funnel cake, lemonaid shakeup, and all the other fried goodness.  Goodbye diet.

  • Where are you at in your TTC journey? Month 3 , day 11

Any testing coming up?  I've been peeing on CB OPKs every day since Day 7 I think with no smiley face yet.  Hope it shows up soon.  When is the best time to pee on those sticks?  Ive being doing it first thing in the morning.

Anything good or bad happening? (TTC wise or just in life..)  Not much change. This month I wanted to up the amount that we have sex - every other day or so and at least 3 times a week.  So far so good.

FFC/AW of the Week (no rules):  Spending DDs last day of summer at the pool this afternoon.  School starts tomorrow :(
  • @vlagrl29 Morning is usually the best time since it's the most concentrated urine.
If your cycles are pretty predictable and around 28ish (the norm) days long, then you may ovulate around day 14 of your cycle.  So starting them now will help and give you a better idea on when you're going to ovulate.

  • Where are you at in your TTC journey? Cycle #6, CD39, 4 DPO :)

Any testing coming up? I've told myself I should wait until 10 DPO to POAS. I'm pretty sure I won't make it that long

Anything good or bad happening? (TTC wise or just in life..)
Sorry for the shouty capitals, but...I GOT CROSS-HAIRS THIS MORNING!!!!!! This pretty much made my day. Can you tell? This is a first, since the other couple times FF said I O'd, I don't trust.

Also, it looks like my uncle is paying for us (meaning my mom, dad, me, my DH, my sister, and her BF) to fly out to CA for a weekend in September for my grandfather's 80th birthday. :D

FFC/AW of the Week (no rules): In addition to O'ing on my own, I am down 16 lbs since I started seeing the RE. This includes the past 2.5 weeks of not being able to work out because of my stupid toe.

  • Ahhhhhh!!!!! @lfk2013  So many things crossed for you!  Crosshairs! 4DPO! Craziness!  Also, amazing job on the weight loss progress!

    How was your timing?

Also, I won't judge for early testing.  I usually start around 8DPO because I'm a pee pusher and negatives don't bother me.  This cycle I'm trying to tell myself to wait until 10DPO, but I'm at 6DPO now and the willpower is already fading.

  • it took me 4 weeks to get a positive pregnancy test with DD.  I had symptoms on week 2.  Good luck to all you testing!
  • Sorry, I've been absent for awhile again! Work is crazy, then I couldn't log in.. blah blah blah... Anyway, here's my updates!

Where are you at in your TTC journey?  Coming up on 8 years. Blarg. Nothing new. Hoping to try IVF sometime before the end of the year if we can come up with enough $$

Any testing coming up? nope. though I probably should take a PG test just for formality so I can take my usual dose of Provera *sigh*

Anything good or bad happening? (TTC wise or just in life..) Yes!!! I put in my 2 weeks notice on Monday!! I'm finally leaving the job from hell!! It's all because LuLaRoe has done so well for me that I'm able to supplement and make it work! I can't wait!!

FFC/AW of the Week (no rules): See above :) that's my only AW right now!

In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!

T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.

  • @brij2006 - Our timing was...meh. The ironic part was I O'd on the day DH had to give his sample for his SA analysis...so we had to abstain the previous three days. We DTD that night, but I'm not hanging my hat on this go-round.

DH is already asking when I can test. LOL. I told him Monday, but I'm pretty sure I'll crack and start testing Saturday (8 DPO).

I'm thinking maybe I ovulate later in the month.  I've had none of that discharge that you get when you ovulate and still no smiley face - day 13 now.  I usually have a 28 day cycle.

It's possible.  Just keep peeing on the OPK's and hopefully you'll get a good idea of when you do.

  • Hi all! Happy Friday!

Not much new going on our way, but 1 month from today we pick our donor and pull the trigger on moving forward with our next journey. :# It's been a rough past couple of days as I know that this is getting closer... angry, sad, scared out of my mind...

As a side note, I'm sure it goes without saying, but those who are friends with me on FB, we are literally not telling anyone we know IRL right now about using donor eggs, so I'd like to ask that you keep that in mind for the future. :) It was advised by our counselor so we can control the message with our child(ren) when we feel like they are ready. So, to prevent any slip-ups, we're keeping it to ourselves. Also, after losing our son, if when we are able to get pregnant, I don't think we'll be posting much outside of GP/M anyways. Thanks, loves!

I was starting to think they didn't work, but alas on day 14 today I got my smiley face.  I told DH to rest up today lol.  He has no idea I'm peeing on sticks.  I don't want him to be stressed out and feeling under pressure.
