  • I'm in the midst of my FET protocol.  I am currently injecting myself with Delestrogen on Fridays and Mondays, taking aspirin and prenatals every day.  This will continue for another week and a half, then I'll start Progesterone in Oil injections every day.  I hate them.

But, just a few weeks until FET and less than a month until we know whether I'm pregnant or not.  :)

I *really* need to step up the exercise, as I say every week.  We've had a lot going on this month, and it'll continue for another 10 days or so, and it's been difficult to fit in exercise.  I absolutely need to make it a priority.  I eat pretty healthy, but I'm up about 5 pounds just from the lack of physical activity.  WE're going to a wedding on Saturday and I'm actually concerned about being able to zip up my dress.... gross.

  • Where are you at in your TTC journey? cycle 4 CD5

Any testing coming up?Nope - I did a pregnancy test on the first day of my missed period last week - and then AF showed up Saturday:(  I will start with OPKs on CD 11

Anything good or bad happening? (TTC wise or just in life..)  Just had my annual  exam with my new OB.  I really like her.  She said to have sex on CD 12, 14, 16 and 18 of this month.  So that starts on Monday.

FFC/AW of the Week (no rules):  I'm afraid I might be stressing too much with this TTC thing.  The other day I read if you are AMA you should go for further testing if you have TTC'd for 6 months with no luck.  Here I thought it was a year.  Well that's only 3 months left for us.  I'm about to back away from the computer.
  • @vlagrl35 - I'm sorry.  I was wondering about you the other day.

But, I have heard and agree, with the 6 month thing after 35.

  • Where are you at in your TTC journey? Cycle #7, CD13

Any testing coming up? Continued OPKs. They've all been negative so far, but last cycle they went from really light lines to a positive line quickly. Fingers crossed my body works again.

Anything good or bad happening? (TTC wise or just in life..) I've been majorly slacking on my food choices lately. I was doing so well with my food tracking. I have added a second day to the weekly barre/yoga schedule, though, so I'm hoping that helps. It's probably because I've been super stressed at work. All the projects were transferred to me (as of today) and I feel like I'm barely keeping my head above water. I have been told, though, that in a year I'll feel like I'm competent. Great.

FFC/AW of the Week (no rules): This is the first year that I don't want to celebrate my birthday. As in nothing. It's weird...but part of it is because I'm not where I thought I'd be. I have wanted kids for so long that it feels like it's hitting me harder this year, especially since I finally have a diagnosis. I don't know...I'm dreading the actual day for some reason. Part of me wants people to say "Happy Birthday"...the other part wants to hide from the world and ignore the day of my birth.
    Anniversary
    Married: 10/13/2013
    TTC #1: Mirena removed 5/26/2015; DH - normal SA, me - diagnosed with PCOS 8/4/2016 - on Metformin;
    BFP - 10/29/2016!!!, EDD - 7/8/2017
  • @vlagrl35 - I'm sorry.  I was wondering about you the other day.

But, I have heard and agree, with the 6 month thing after 35.
thanks!  It's ok - I'm hoping to get into a yoga workshop at the end of the month and put my focus on other things.  Although I did tell DH to prepare for all month long sex.

35 is just not old to me ya know - heck I'm healthier now than when I was 25!  I'm letting to many negative thoughts enter my brain and need to focus on the positive.  We haven't been trying that long.  It's bound to happen at some point.
  • @ifk2013 - you should totally celebrate your bday.  Maybe a spa day:)  That's what I do for myself every year.
  • @brij2006 - Hooray for another trip to Hawaii!! FX that you are able to get in for a sooner appointment with RE.

@ilovewhitevinotoo - Boo for injections, but you got this!! Everything's crossed for your FET and that you get to meet this little one in 9-ish months! <3<3

@vlagrl35 - Sorry about the BFN. GL this cycle.

@lfk2013 - Congrats( :# ) on all your new responsibilities at work... Hopefully, it means a pay raise has happened or is at least in process! I know you're stressed, but it's got to feel good to have so much support from those around you!
My birthday is coming up this month, too, and I feel exactly the same... I've felt the same every birthday since turning 30 really (except my birthday in 2014 when I was pregnant). I'm trying to make this year a positive one since it's the day we make an official decision on our donor.... We'll see how that works out... LOL.. picking someone's eggs who's 10-12 years younger than me... :D

AFM - Same 'ol, same 'ol. 4 yrs 5 mo TTC/3T... Still on track for picking donor and starting this crazy process later this month. Got a little more info on 2 of the donors we're interested in... One is in the middle of her first donor cycle, and the other recently went thru her first cycle and had 25 eggs retrieved and 15 that made it to embryos to freeze. The recipient is having some health issues herself, so no transfer/pregnancy yet. Donor was described as "very responsible" and is interested in going through the process again. Sounds like a good bet to me!

IRL, we are finalizing our plans for a vacation to PNW in late-September/early-October. H and I started a tradition last year to see something new and beautiful to honor our little boy for his "birthday". Last year, we went to Horseshoe Bend (Google it, it's amazing!), and this year, we decided we want to see Multnomah Falls. Super excited! We'll also visit where we're hoping to move in a couple of years and visit H's family. (Psst... @ilovewhitevinotoo, maybe we can figure out something too!) :)
