1. How MM was your week/end?
2. Any progress toward goals?
3. Are there regular threads you'd like to see on this board? (Ahem,
@brij2006 can you please make the weekly meal planning post a reg?)

Re: Week/end Accountability
2. Not too much, just about $70 in side hustle money to the mortgage principle.
3. See above comment about Brij's meal planning post.
I had a coupon for bogo Qdoba and went there to pick up dinner last night. When I swiped my frequent shopper card I was due a free entree so we got both burritos for free and ended up spending $0 on food the entire weekend!
Routine shot for the dog was about $150 and we blew $70 on art at the party we got free tickets to on Friday.
Also $0.50 on a deodorant at Rite Aid. It was on sale for $1.99 but they had an in-ad $1 off coupon and since RA allows double dip on coupons I also used a $0.50 off coupon. I walked there while I was out walking around doing other things in the beautiful weather so it is not like I made a special trip either.
2. We made about $275 on BnB and that will help offset our higher bills this month to keep us building up savings.
3. I like the meal planning post. It might help me get some ideas to up my pathetic meal planning game
2. Any progress toward goals? An extra $549 to savings this weekend. That's the amount of a reimbursement check my husband apparently got 2 MONTHS ago and never opened the envelope. Good thing I cleaned out the office and opened his mail yesterday. Since we clearly didn't miss it I just put it into savings so that we can get closer to that new kitchen.
3. Are there regular threads you'd like to see on this board? Agreed on the meal planning post because I need to get better about that.
2. Any progress toward goals? No, not til the end of the week when I can transfer more money to savings. October is also the start of our new, stricter budget.
3. Are there regular threads you'd like to see on this board? I know on Reddit I see stuff like Tuesday/Thursday Triumphs on some finance related subreddits that could maybe be inspiring here. Like, what have you done that's making you feel good? What have you accomplished lately?
2. Any progress toward goals? Not a pay week so no. I've been re-looking at my budget to figure out ways to save more money and get some things paid off.
3. Are there regular threads you'd like to see on this board? I'd love a weekly meal planning post too! H and I need to get better at that and I've made it a project for myself to start making 1 new dish a week over the fall/winter so that would help me get some new ideas!
2. Any progress toward goals? nothing financial this week. Bathroom will be grouted next Saturday.
3. Are there regular threads you'd like to see on this board?
I like this one and the prior vs new month post. Those are helpful to stay on track.
2- purchasing our trees has been my goal ever since spring. Hope to get a rock wall next. other than that no.
3 - I do like the meal planning. It will give me new ideas. I can't really think of any other topics right now.
2 - No, not a payday week.
3 - I like the meal planning since I'm obsessed with doing that already. I can't think of any topics for weekly posts, beyond what we are doing already. I always enjoy talking about career and/or real estate related stuff but I don't know how that would integrate into a weekly post.
2. $300 to savings. Non-financial goal week, though. I've been going to the gym a lot and really working hard and I was able to put on a shirt that hasn't fit in a year! Non-scale victory for the win!!
3. I really like the meal planning idea, even though I don't do it. Ha! But when we cook on Sundays, I'm interested in stealing some of your ideas!
Spent $100 on groceries Friday, spent $25 on gas Sunday. Paid some regular bills Sunday night (paid off credit card before the due date, paid electric bill, paid for lawn service etc). I did blow some money on Friday night at Target but it came out of my fun money. New throw pillows, comforter, blanket for the office, fall placemats, donut pan (already made donuts!). Kind of a lot but I'm still "filling in" the new house.
2. Any progress toward goals?
Just staying the course.

Love the meal planning post! Hopefully my login is fixed for the last (8th?) time since it got messed up a couple of months ago, and I can easily get in to participate now.
Late to the party, but I want to be accountable.
1. We were out of town for a long weekend and we stayed within the budget! $22 Gas, $16 Gas, $300 spending, came home with $30
2. We get paid this week, but I changed our Sandals vacation in May from Sunday-Sunday instead of Saturday - Saturday. All the flights on Saturday from JFK were $1K+ and Jet Blues scheduled finally came out this weekend and I saw they had no flights booked to arrive/leave Antigua on the Saturdays, so I switched to the Sunday's and was able to lower our room to the cheapest one ($133 savings), and book Jet Blue tickets (our favorite airline) for $646 roundtrip. Boo yah!
3. I like all the weekly/monthly threads we have now, and can't think of anything else to add.
We went to Chicago for the Cubs/Cardinals game. We budgeted $450 for our nice dinner out, drinks, entertainment, the expensive parking, etc. We spent $500. Whoops. Really not bad though given that we didn't really watch what we were spending and $200 of that was our really nice dinner out.
We also spent $65 on some clothing for H for Hawaii.
No goal progress last week. That will be this week instead.
