Weekend Plans?

Re: Weekend Plans?

  • I don't think we really have anything planned....just the usual of laundry, cleaning, gym, errands, and taking out our AC units as it's getting chilly
  • I have to be at a dress rehearsal for a wedding tonight.  Saturday afternoon I play the wedding and Sunday is a play date for DD.  DH has a family shoot Saturday morning and then he is wanting to finish painting the music room of his studio.
  • I'm supposed to go to a group dinner tonight.  We'll see how I'm feeling.  Beyond that, no plans.....
    Daisypath Anniversary tickers
  • Tonight I'm hosting a screening of Idiocracy for my moms group. Nothing else planned. Hopefully a trip to the zoo
  • Zero plans all weekend long.
My BFF's boyfriend is having a cookout tomorrow night.  We should go, but it's 2 hours away and at 5pm.  DD goes to bed at 7.  So it definitely wouldn't be fun, but I'm going to try and drag H to it.

  • I'm going to my first Patriots game on Sunday! Pretty psyched since it's a 1pm game and the weather forecast looks good. I keep reading that as I get further into my ivf stims I'm going to get bloated so I hope I don't feel like crap at the game.

Have so much fun @LillibetteV! They are worth every penny and inconvenience. Hope the meds give you an ok day to enjoy the game.

    Tonight: Blissfully nothing!

Tomorrow: Work at an outreach event, then maybe a corn maze.

Sunday: Football, yoga, church. Not necessarily in that order.
  • thanks @Xstatic3333! My FIL is a season ticket holder and didn't realize I'd never been so he gave us his tickets so at least the cost is just parking and food at the stadium! Otherwise Boston sports games are definitely NOT MM hahaha

Not at all! They're fun though. We've gone to one game a year the last few years and do find it worth the splurge. I was actually hoping our ticket connection would offer us tickets to this Sunday's since it's a nice fall day game. We usually end up going on rainy days in December and it would be nice to switch it up!

I've told my husband in the past that I won't go during crappy weather. I don't care if that makes me a brat, but I'm not freezing my butt off to have a worse view of the game than if I was at home with my remote and chicken wings!

This is me with the Bears.  It's only a little over a 2 hours from our house, but windy Chicago in an open arena in the dead of winter?  No thank you.

I can't really blame you guys. I have fun with it, but then again I'm also the weirdo who goes on scuba diving trips to Maine so I have an affinity for cold weather torture. We have gotten to go to a couple of playoff games by developing a cold-weather friendly reputation, so that has been really fun. My friend is nice and only ever asks for the face value of her tickets, which luckily for us aren't very good or we'd never be able to afford any of this at all.
