What are your plans for this first weekend of April?

Re: Weekend plans?

  • I just want to relax.  We've been making a lot of trips with my dad being in the hospital in SC.  So my plan for this weekend is nothing!

  • Tonight I'm going to bed as soon as I get home from work. I was up ALL night getting kicked in the guts by this fetus and I'm totally dragging now. I've been drinking decaf all pregnancy, but this morning I went for the real stuff and hoping the coffee works its magic soon...

Tomorrow night we are going to a fundraiser for my cousin's Boston Marathon run - this is his second one and he raises money for Dana Farber in memory of his dad (my uncle). IF I can get some sleep tonight I'll do some more decluttering/yard sale prep during the day.

Sunday we're going to an all day natural childbirth class. My husband has never seen a birth video so this should be sort of hilarious for me - he's going to freak haha.
  • Saturday we're going to buy a bedroom furniture set (not MM), go to a fundraising dinner and then to my alma mater's spring musical.

Sunday we have nothing planned, so I'm hoping to do some diy-ing on the frames I talked about in Monday Accountability. My loose goal is to have them done and on the wall in time for Easter (in 2 weeks). Realistically I don't think it will happen, but ya never know!
  • going out with friends tonight for dinner and laser tag

This weekend I want DH to treat the weeds and fertilize since it will rain sunday.  I'd also like to get all the patio stuff back out now that the weather is nice.  Cleaning the garage a bit would be pretty good to as well.

DD is going with DH tomorrow for a hair cut.  She usually goes to my stylist but she's been in school the times I go lately.  she needs a bang trim bad.  DH told her that they could put in a temporary rainbow highlight in her hair - that should be interesting.

  • Fri - work late :( there are a lot of month end deadlines happening.  It has been crazy all week.
When I get home do nothing!  We have a BnB checking in.  H will do the check in since I will be home late.  I thought it would be 2 people but I just realized it is only one person which is nice.  1 person reservations are usually really easy.

Sat - Not sure what I'll be in in the mood for during the day, if anything.  Fundraiser party at night that I am looking forward.  The theme is act like a kid and is really casual.  Last year the drinks and food were excellent so finger crossed for this year.  I am totally in the mood to be a glutton.

Sun - Use a gift card we bought on sale in Nov for a nice dinner out.  Clean the guest room after the BnB leaves, laundry, gym, etc.

It should be a low key weekend.  I am looking forward to it.  And to all of the eating :)

It's not going to be a particularly MM weekend I think. Today I need to go grocery shopping before a friend comes to stay for two nights. There was a tree cutting business cutting down trees at a house 2 lots down from us so I asked them to stop by and for $50 they took down some dead limbs in a large oak tree. It's the same company that we've hired in the past to take down lots of trees in our yard so I knew they'd be ok to hire for a quick on the spot job.

Saturday my friend and I will go to a winery and probably drink too much...but my H is going to DD for us. That evening two other friends are going to come over for dogs and burgers and corn hole as long as the ground isn't too wet from last night's rainfall.

Sunday we don't have any plans yet. I might help my mom volunteer but it depends on when my friend has to leave.
  • Tonight- I'm hitting the gym tonight while H is out with a friend of his.

Tomorrow- early gym class and work. H is working on homework this weekend.

Sunday- grocery shopping and cleaning. I'm so far behind on laundry and regular cleaning this last month. These six day work weeks are killing me.
  • Today was a longggggg day at work!  We're just watching tv tonight and I'm going to take a Simply Sleep and go to bed early!  I've been stressed out and not sleeping well, and despirately need a full night plus some.  No plans tomorrow besides a coffee walk and a little work to prepare for the upcoming work week.  Sunday I'm volunteering to serve breakfast at the shelter where I'm on the board.  Then I need to do some work on their spring solicitation.  Should be a nice weekend!

  • Today is very low-key at home. Tomorrow though, we are leaving the baby with my parents for the first time and going on a brunch date. It won't be MM, but I am so excited! And the good news is, so are my parents. Sam seems to love my mom so I feel very at ease with the situation.
  • I know it can be kinda sad the first time you leave baby alone with a grandparent for a date but you need to get out every once an awhile :)@Xstatic3333
