Back from the Dentist

So my appointment went OK, my dentist was great, he didn't scold me, however I'm 29 years old and I have my first cavity (4 in fact). I'm really bummed out, my last dentist had told me when I was pregnant that it looked like I had some soft spots that could turn into cavities, but at the time he couldn't do anything about them because I was pregnant, well I get to deal with them now. I have to go back next week for x-rays and the following week for fillings. He did say there were surface cavities, whatever that means, he said it was a good thing, I guess less drilling. I'm just a big baby when it comes to this stuff, I still have all of my wisdom teeth, I just don't like the idea of any work being done in my mouth.

  • It's good that you went and are getting them taken care of.  :)  I have a few cavities.  They aren't that bad to get filled.

  • I'm glad he didn't scold you and it wasn't as bad as you thought! Having cavaties filled really isn't that bad as long as you get the novicaine. And surface cavaties don't require a lot of drilling so I hope the experience isn't too bad for you!
