Re: Teachers and Anyone Interested
There will also be rallies going on Friday, March 13th: Mission and Garey in Pomona @ 3 PM and Vineyard in Ontario @ 4 PM
Let's support our students, as well as the teachers getting layed off.
I will be wearing pink this Friday. I told my students about it too, and some of them plan to wear pink as well.
We are allowed to demonstrate, as long as we're not late for first period. I don't think anyone at my school plans to demonstrate though.
We did our demonstration on Friday and handed out fliers to parents about what impact our district's cuts will have on their kids. It also had phone numbers they could call to urge legislators not to cut education funding.
