Recommend a straightener

Okay so i need recommendations. I just had 4 inches chopped off and she put a flat iron to it and i was a bit surprised only because i have straight straight hair already. However, when she did it it worked wonders for the bangs that are grown out on the side.

Re: Recommend a straightener

  • I have a CHI and love it
  • I have straight hair too and love my flat iron.  I have the chi.  The 1".  I broke it and was so upset.  Someone told me to check amazon.com and I found a brand new one for $65 (which included shipping).  In the stores they run for about $190.  I think they are the best.

  • I also have a CHI 1" flat iron.  I don't know how I ever lived without, it is amazing.  I bought mine from Ulta when they were having a sale.  I think I paid $99.

Make sure you keep your receipt, warranty and the box.  After about 3 months of using it one day it just wouldn't turn on, the good thing is that there is a one year warranty.  I took it back to the store with the receipt and warranty and they gave me a new one.

  • Wow Chi is the fav :) I will definately check it out. TY. Were actually going somewhere that theres an ulta so i will definately look there too.
  • I have heard good things about the Sedu too.
  • I actually have a cheap one from walmart - it cost about $20 and I love it. Although I am going to get a Chi soon.  I think my current is a revlon maybe?
  • Update: My current straightener is an Andis.  I'd never heard of the brand either when I bought it but my best friend swore by them.
  • I have a 1" from Revlon that I just had to replace after about 3 years from Walmart (similar to what Mandy said - $20 or less.)  I LOVED my old one, but they've redesigned it.  It's still nice and its sleeker now, but their new design catches my hair more now than it did before.  (Before, it VERY rarely caught my hair.  Now it catches it probably 3 times a week.)
