OK Girls I need help
I can't find anything that I like for Cate's birthday plates and napkins, you "know" me well enough to know that I love this stuff and even though she won't remember I still want it to look good. I can't find anything here in the stores that I really like, I've been searching online and still nothing. I want bright pink and green, something that isn't too old and I'd really like something with at least a one on it or a cupcake.
Her invitations are white with a bright pink and green border and a cupcake at the top that is pink on the top and green on the bottom.
I'm getting down to the wire, please help. I've googled birthday plates, 1st birthday, cupcake plates and nothing really excites me, it all seems so cheezy.

Do you have a store named Hobby Lobby by you? They can have some cute stuff at times also. Michael's may have something too but it's always hit or miss with them.
I got so annoyed with the selctions by us, that I just went to Party City and mixed and matched regular birthday stuff with the 1st birthday stuff until I got a look I liked. I really didn't have a theme like you are going for, so that may not be as easy.
I've been to Hobby Lobby and Micheals, HL has some cute cupcake plates but they are the wrong pink and slightly more grown up. Micheals has a ton of cupcake stuff in their $ section but it's blue, go figure.
I've looked in Target and if I can't find anything else I think I will do the plain colors and find some 1 stuff - my problem is I'm too picky, I have this idea in my head and I can't let it go.

There are two different plate patterns on that link, but both are NMS.
I don't think the cupcake carousel plates/napkins are too grown up. I mean, after all - this is her 1st bday party and anything you do is basically for pictures and the adults. LOL I can't remember which invitation you went for, but wasn't one of them more "grown-up" looking than the other? It's not like Cate's really "Fisher Price invitation" style - she's more Pottery Barn classy style it seems.
I also really like the spots, but I thought the pink might be too bright. They had a lot of coordinating stuff (like you could probably find plain green napkins to match.)
yeah I hate the plates, they are ugly but I liked the bev. napkins that are simple and just say one, then I could just get the plain pink and green plates to go with them
