I hate monday mornings, but I suppose they happen every week so I should get over it. I'm taking the boys to the dentist today, keep your fingers crossed for me, my hubs had to work and I'm not sure how they're going to react, they've had cleanings before but I never took them both at once and my husband always came with me.
Re: Good Morning
Morning.
I bought my first pair of Maternity pants yest. at ON and they are SO comfy. I could def. live in these!
'Morning. Good luck, Heather - dentists suck, but hopefully they'll do alright. (If not, one good zip on the drill should catch their attention and scare them into submission! LOL)
I hate Mondays as well. Although Tuesdays are fast overtaking Mondays on "Super Craptastic" scale.
Xena is going to the vet today - we're very concerned about her since she's having leg issues again. She'll sit down and get up 3 minutes later and her leg looks like it's asleep.
She's already had two round of drugs (and has been off them for at least a month now), so they're likely to do x-rays right away. I'm more nervous that they're going to x-ray it, and find nothing and say "Oh.. she must just be sore from playing" and send her home with more drugs.
We also were up later than usual last night because we got 7" of heavy-ass snow, so Greg and I dug out most of our driveway before our neighbor came out and said "Aww.. I was just going to come out in a little bit and blow the driveway!" So we let him finish it out off (it's a shared driveway).
Good morning. I'm back from my uncle's funeral and I've decided I'm not accepting any more deaths this year.
MH and I have decided that we are going to go German Shephard puppy shopping soon. YAY! I'm pretty excited about having a big guard dog!
Morning, I'm OK this morning, our weekend was good, we went to a home and garden show, we got lots of ideas for the backyard. I spent yesteday trying out cupcakes for Cate's party, the decorating didn't go as planned but I found the cutest butterflys and flowers to decorate with, now I just need to find plates and napkins that are NOT cheezy or baby pink.
Michelle, I loved my mat pants too, they are so comfy.
Mandy, how exciting about the puppy, when do you think you'll get one?
Morning. I have a drs appointment this morning so I'm still home for now. Then off to work where at least my boss is treating everyone to lunch.
We had a productive weekend and I'll post some pics of the nursery progress so far later today or tomorrow.
I don't know yet. I'm going to research some breeders online today and see what I can find in the area (or at least within a couple hours driving distance). We went for a walk last night and MH was talking about how he'd like to have a dog to walk with us.
Nevermind the fact that I don't REALLY need them yet.
Who cares! It's all about being comfortable!
Mandy, the only main advice I can offer with the GSD and you guys probably already know this, but be careful not to overtrain them AS a guard dog.
A woman at one of MH's accounts got a GSD a few months ago and was SO excited... well, they live out in the middle of NOWHERE (no kidding - 200 acres, so there is NO traffic on their road). A car came down the road when the dog was out one day when they were bringing stuff in and the dog FREAKED, thinking the car was someone who shouldn't have been on their property!
Sadly, their 5 month old GSD puppy (nearly full-sized already) ran out onto the road to "attack" the car and the car killed her instantly. (They never associated the dog with other dogs, and rarely had visitors so she's grown OVER protective of them and their property.)
Morning ladies, I am enjoying this spring forward. I love it being light later. We went on a 5 mile hike/rock climbing yesterday and it was gorgeous when we got up top. It was 78 all weekend and I loved that.
Good luck puppy shopping Mandy...it is so much fun getting a puppy and very exciting. What made you guys decide on a German Shephard?
Paula; That's a sad story! MH trained his old GSD to be a police dog basically so that's his intention with this one. We're also putting in an electric fence.
Graves: MH had a GSD before and he was so sad when he had to get rid of him. So we're getting another one!
I sent emails to three breeders in the area to get information. I'm pretty excited!
what about a GSD rescue? there are some younger dogs and puppies in rescues.

Good morning. Good luck with the dentist.
I have a raging cold!!!
Michelle, I love maternity pants. They are so comfy.
