So my sister and BIL are having a party on Saturday. I am bringing chocolate covered strawberries and these chocolate covered marshmellow graham crackers things. I wanted to bring a hot appetizer too, but i don't have too much time to cook before the party. I was going to make mini hamburgers but I'm not sure i will have time. Any ideas for a quick and easy one? Thank you!
Re: Ideas?
Thats a good idea if I am really short on time, which I may be
These sound gross but they're really good, it's a good go to for me and people rave about them.
Whole prunes wrapped in bacon, basically you just take the prune wrap a slice of bacon around it, bake it at 375 until the bacon is cooked. I always place a toothpick in them to make sure the bacon doesn't unwarp when cooking
To steal caro's idea, it's pretty common around her to do that with water chestnuts. (Wrap each water chestnut in a piece of bacon and pierce with a toothpick, and then they're often thrown into a slow cooker with some BBQ sauce or something like that. Not sure if people bake in the oven first, but I can't see as it would hurt them to.)
They're usually the first things gone at MIL's parties!
