Any good stories? Anyone do anything fun?
My H and I loved Annapolis! We had a great time! It was so nice to spend the weekend in a hotel, away from any distractions. Friday we had dinner with my best friend in Baltimore and left the pup with her. (he had a ball playing with her dog for the weekend). We got to the hotel and went in the pool/hot tub then drank a bottle of wine and called it a night.
Saturday, we explored Annapolis (walked around, looked at the historical buildings/ monuments, went to the Naval Academy), had lunch then we took a nice nap (love naps!). That night, we celebrated my birthday-went to Thai for dinner then to a bar.
It was so hard to come home and I am sad to be back to reality!
Re: How was your weekend??
Friday we went to Red Lobster because I wanted some of those cheddar baked biscuits. So yummy!
Saturday we visited my grandmother in the hospital then went down to AC to go to the outlets, the melting pot, and gamble a little in the casion. The H won $25.00 on the penny slots. It was so cute to watch him get all excited.
Sunday we went food shopping and then to the IL's for my step FIL's birthday.
Krista - glad to hear you guys had a good time! Did you go to Lemongrass?
Saturday we were at my MIL's all day until about 9pm. Then H went back Sunday - they think his dad will pass sometime this week, but we'll see. He's really just physically here right now - he's been mentally gone for about a week. It's such a shame - H just wants it to be over for him.
Yesterday I went to an open house with my brother and his GF, then spent some time with my family.
Natalie, I love those cheddar biscuits, too!
Nothing too exciting... but DH was off this weekend, so it was nice to have time off together! We got a lot of cleaning and organizing done around the house and even washed the cars!
Krista-Glad to hear you had a great time.
Saturday we went to the Italian Market with my BIL and his wife. The boys saw kangaroo meat and decided that would be dinner. It wasnt bad. Sunday was a lazy day and laundry day.
Krista...I understand what you mean about getting away without distractions, that had to be so nice!!!
Our weekend was nice...my parents and sister and brother with their fiances came over for dinner for our parents birthday which was nice. Sunday I ran around to Old Navy and Target and got myself some cute stuff from Old Navy then we went to FI's parents and had a nice dinner with his parents and his sister and her new BF. The weekend went by so fast, I feel like I need one more day!!!
Natalie- I love those biscuits!!! I could eat them for my dinner!
Toni--yes, we went to Lemongrass. We loved it!!! The restaurant itself was a lot smaller/louder than we expected but the food was soooo good.
Krista - glad you liked it. it's definitely small and loud in there! but the food was great.
I have heard good things about those biscuits. I need to check out Red Lobster. I got some coupons in our paper, so I think we'll go soon.
Hello ladies...Just spent some quality time with my family this weekend. The H and I sat on the beach for a good period of time Friday night which was really nice. Other then that a very non exciting weekend.
I am craving seafood right now...Red Lobster sounds really good.
sounds like fun, krista! glad you had a great b-day!!
me, h, and harper went to kaleys soccer party, then sat night we went to north NJ to see friends who have a 6 week old! he was so much smaller than harper, it made me sad that harper is getting so big!
Glad to see you had a great time in Annapolis..and happy belated birthday!
My birthday is actually today!! My husband and I celebrated and spent the night in Cape May saturday and had an amazing time. We try to go there atleast once a year to get away for a night and relax! We stayed at a beautiful b&b, The Virginia..had a very yummy dinner at The Lobster House..then had some martini's at Martini Beach!
Happy Birthday cms!
My weekend started Thursday, so we went to Bar Ferdinand and had an amazing dinner!! Friday I did the taxes (yay $ back!), went to the gym and then I went out to a happy hour with some friends. Saturday H and a friend and I went to the AC outlets and then I babysat my cousins. Yesterday we ran some errands and then went to some open houses.
We decided that we're probably going to buy a house within the next year. Anyone want to rent our condo? LOL
Happy Birthday Krista and CMS!
I love the Lobster House. That's our happy place..sitting on the boat with a beer in hand.
