dentist recs Lancaster pa
Ladies,
I'm looking for a dentist in the Lancaster area (Haven't found one yet down here and don't feel like driving to my parents to have my teeth cleaned). Have MetLife dental insurance... Anyone you love or absolutley hate?
Re: dentist recs Lancaster pa
Hi -
I'm going to recommend against Smilebuilderz - our current dentist's office. They are very thorough so if you like that, they might be a good match, but we had to go for an x-ray appt first, during which they determine what type of cleaning you need, then you have to go back another day for the cleaning. And they take more x-rays than I've ever seen. Again - if your concerned about your teeth - might be a positive. But I went back a month or so later to get something checked out, and they took more x-rays. My Mom was like - don't let them take any more x-rays of your head!
The wait is sometimes long, and they don't answer the phone until after 1pm. But they can schedule you quickly and the dentists and hygenists are all very nice. Their prices are outrageous depending on how much your insurance covers. My cleaning was easy and only cost $89. My husband's cleaning was more extensive and cost over $900 but again, all covered by insurance. Though these rates may vary based on insurance agreements.
Good luck!
