How much do you budget per week/month for groceries? I'm honestly not sure right now. I think that we are aiming for $100/week (or $120...I think 120).
How much do you budget for eating out? We don't have a set eating out budget, but around $100 a month has been our average.

How much do you budget for eating out? Around $50 a week. If I know we're going somewhere more expensive we'll skip eating out one week or go somewhere cheap like BWW.

How much do you budget per week/month for groceries? Wow - we spend a lot compared to everyone else. We budget $120 usually for food each week. This past week we budgeted $150 since we bought two weeks of stuff as well as stuff we normally don't for a "movie night" on Saturday (so soda, two bags of candy, non-100 calorie bags of popcorn.)

I agree...since you take your eating out money out of your food budget you're really spending about the same as everyone else.

We budget $350/mo. for food, alcohol, cat food, and personal care items. Some months we spend more, some less. We usually bust the budget the months we go to Costco to stock up.

We used to budget $300/mo. in joint fun money (which included eating out), but since H took a 20% paycut we've cut most of our funy money since we're still trying to save for a house.
We used to THINK we did well with the food bill. (We didn't budget or factor in eating out; we budgeted food but ate out extra.)
I added December's numbers up... we were spending $800/month in food (that's revised... I had typed $600 and then thought "No... that wasn't right." so I went back and looked it up.)
Groceries - Right now $600 a month. That will go up when the girls are here. This also includes anything we need from Target like cleaning supplies or detergent.
For eating out, we divide it bewteen our social budgets each month.

How much do you budget per week/month for groceries? For our family of 4, typically $100-150 / week + one trip a month to Sams Club where we spend about $100 - so for the month we probably average $500 - $600 (I pack lunches for the whole family 5 days a week)
How much do you budget for eating out? We don't have a set budget, but I would say we spend $25-50 / week eating out, this is mostly my husbands DD coffee and maybe one family meal out a week.
