Wan - tater tot casserole
TY so much for putting the bug in my ear about this dish. I just loved it! I wanted to bring some for work but I want it for dinner instead so I didn't.
Holey cow, so good.
Re: Wan - tater tot casserole
i'm glad you liked it! ?there were so many naysayers on FB, but perhaps it was the strange mix of ingredients you listed
i always stick to ground sirloin (or whatever 90/10 is), add some chopped cooked bacon, mix with a can of "healthy request" cream of mushroom soup and a can of fat-free milk, top with reduced fat shredded cheddar, and then put the layer of tots on. ?you took it to a whole new level! ?
i guess i'm a tater tot casserole purist. ?i just serve veggies on the side.?
I think she meant a can as in the amount of milk. Like "cup of milk" but use a can to measure it out.
Oooooooh.
?
I thought it was something special, like evaporated milk or condensed milk
?
!!
94% lean ground beef, a bag of frozen peas and carrots, green onion, low sodium cream of mushroom soup, can of milk, tossed in some parm cheese, topped with Mexican blend cheese, topped with tots, topped with more cheese...oh and I put like 4 slices of chopped up bacon in the ground beef.
If you're so impressed, maybe I'll make this the main dish at your shower!
