So, it really hasn't changed all that much for me, I guess. The divorce was in the works for a while, so by the time it FINALLY got finalized, it had felt like we were divorced forever. MH and I were already dating and basically living together.
Moved out on own with BF/now H into an apartment
Adopted 2 cats (not at same time Rascal and Peewee)
Moved into a house
Got engaged
Got a dog (Jake)
Graduated from Va Tech with Biology degree
Got another dog (Maggie)
Dericks great granny passed
Continued working for dad's business
Got my realtor's license
Derick's aunt died
Got married to high school sweetheart
Grandpa died
Moved into another house

Husband left his job
Derick had foot surgery

Went on my first cruise
Moved a hour from my parents
Got Frankie
Got pregnant
My Grandma died
Miscarried

Now looking to move again.
Was broken up with DH
Interviewed/hired for job
Graduated college
Went to summer school to get 150 hours to sit for CPA exam
Got back together with DH
Started my first real job in taxes
1st real tax season
Started sitting for the CPA exam.
Passed REG, failed everything else (multiple times)
Got engaged
Grandma died
2 more busy seasons
Failed more parts of the CPA exam
Got married
Went on HM, got pregnant
Built a house and moved in with DH for the first time
Sat for more parts of the CPA exam and failed.
Had David
(Missed out on a tax season)
Took CPA exam and passed 3 of the 4
Another busy season
Ha! Mel's is near and dear to my heart!
Mine...
Lawsuit finalized against stupid ex and I (dramatically) got my huge TV back.
Lots of partying and being irresponsible
Met a guy on a blind date - sure to be a loser b/c he didn't like short-haired girls (later I would marry him)
Interview for and accept my first real job
Graduate college
Move in with Mike
Spend six days in Vegas - mine and Mike's first real vaca together...way too much time to spend in Vegas.
Start working and realize that no one actually works only 40 hrs/week the way I was promised
Buy our condo...nope, we're not engaged at this point...
THEN we get engaged...six months later
Get married and go to Hawaii
Quit my job, swearing off public accounting for the rest of my life
Get semi-laid off and quit that job, swearing off big private companies for the rest of my life
Go back to public accounting
Realize that I've avoided the CPA exam for over 3 years...time to start failing it...I mean, taking it.
Run marathon
And here we are today...
