OW ow ow!!

I was frying some chicken for dinner earlier and the hot oil splashed out onto the inner part of my wrist. It hurts SOOOO bad!!!

Its been like 20 min and it still hurts a lot! I've been sticking it under running water, but its hard to cook/eat like that. Sad

Re: OW ow ow!!

  • Aw that sucks! I've done that many a time. It just keeps on hurting.

Fried chicken sounds really good though. :) Sorry you can't enjoy it.

  • Ouch!! I hate when that happens.
  • Oh ouch! Did you try some ice on it? Also, if you have an aloe plant, some of that works great on burns.
  • When I worked in my glorified fast food position (lol) and I got a burn I put mustard on it. They claimed it helped. I will never know if it did. I was to busy dipping mini corndogs on my arm.
  • Ouch! I did that Monday night, but I was frying taco shells. I accidentally spilled some on my foot. My toe had a little blister : /
  • Thanks for the sympathy guys!! I eventually put neosporian on the burn, since it was still incredibly painful 45 min later. That helped A LOT, but now I have a nice red burn mark on my wrist.

    Cooking battle scars, right? :)
