Humm, that's tough. I love the Cubs idea, I think it's great and your still incorporating the "30" in to it with the cake.
Do they have that 30 theme in red or blue? maybe you could just get the bev napkins and then do plain for the rest of the stuff

anyway, I was going to say that but I was thinking if they had those plates and napkins in red or blue then it could all tie togther.
What if you did the 30 theme and then did a Cubs cake with Happy 30th on it or something like that. He's only 30 once, but then again would you throw him a huge bash for anything other than a milestone b-day?
If I could find primary blue or red milestone napkins then this would make my decision so much easier, then I could do a cubs themed cake. But, I wouldn't do a Cubs cake if the colors were green. Ugh, why do I stress so much?! LOL
I agree, they would have to be Cubs colors otherwise it would look silly. I'll go on a hunt for you. (I'm doing data entry stuff at work and it's killing me, I feel terrible for the people that used to work for me doing this, I should have paid them way more
)
Anyway, my friend was laughing at me yesterday b/c I'm stressing over Cate's party, I know she won't remember but I will and I want it to be perfect for her to look back at the pictures so I understand why you stress so much.
I get enjoyment out of doing it, even if it does stress me out.
