Another reason I wish I could be a SAHM

It absolutely terrifies me to have to leave my baby in the hands of a stranger when I go back to work! It's a necessary evil.

This is just plain carelessness!

Re: Another reason I wish I could be a SAHM

  • Wow!! That is just careless that she put that bottle in the fridge!

I just have to say that day care is not an "evil." This could have easily happened to a tired SAHM as well who was not paying attention or careless.

Whoa! Before I get flamed, I meant it as a figure of speech!  Angel

I would not subject my baby to something that I truly felt was "evil." But I don't think there is anyone here who feels that they would not provide their children the best daycare possible. No one better than mama!

  • Omg! How could that lady do that? I don't think I could ever make that mistake. Windshield wiper fluid stays in the garage-and is properly labeled. How did it get in the house? How did she not smell it when she poured it? How did the bubbles from the soap not tip her off that it wasn't Kool-aid?
  • Insanity!

  • I had to stop reading/listening to these crazy stories. I was starting to get freaked out about putting our (future) kids in childcare. Maybe my mom is right that I should let her watch the kids while we are working...
  • How sad. I hope the baby in the hospital makes a full recovery.

Oh, it wasn't a flame just a comment. Sorry. I didn't mean it to be construed that way. I just get sensitive about the SAHM vs. Working mother issue sometimes. Sorry.

Oh, I didn't think you were flaming, but I could see how someone might get offended by my comment. I just wanted to clarify it Smile
