What's a good and easy pie to make?

I made a pumpkin pie yesterday and it was really good if I do say so myself.  Super easy recipe:

- can of light sweetened condensed milk

- can of pumpkin

- some ground cinn, ginger, salt, and nutmeg

- 2 eggs

But the I think the secret weapon was the Marie Callendar crust.  It came in a package of 2 so I want to bake another pie.

Any suggestions about an easy pie to make?

Just the plain kind but it was so good!  Like butter pastry.  I had to seriously keep myself from having a huge slice last night.

  • Oh ok then you could do chocolate pudding pie. Mix chocolate pudding (before it sets up) and cool whip. So good.

  • http://www.razzledazzlerecipes.com/quickneasy/pie/index.htm This site has a ton of easy ones using a plain pie crust. I've made the chocolate chip one, it was good!

  • 1 oreo pie crust

1 package of white chocolate puddin'

Make the pudding a little thicker than usual and then pour it in the crust. Refrigerate overnight.

The other one I've always liked is the ice box cake, but instead of making a huge cake I make little sandwiches out of the chocolate wafers and put whipped cream in between.

  • I need to stop opening this post. ?I'm so hungry right now.
  • I use that crust to make quiche - mix 3 eggs, 1/2 container of sour cream, a splash of milk, pour over crust and top with swiss cheese and bake (350 for 30-ish min).  if you want to add any filling, put it in the bottom of the crust before adding the egg mixture. one of my favs was roasted red peppers/sauteed leeks/chicken sausage.  but you can add whatever.
