It's not even noon yet! This day is creeping by so freaking slowly. Anything new happening to anyone. Anyone have any stories to tell?
Re: ARG!
Good luck, Shari!
Nothing too exciting here... at work, it's Women's History Month, and there's a speaker coming, so I'll be going to hear her speak. Her name is Jane Golden, and she's the founder of the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program. I'm excited to hear her speak b/c that program is so amazing!!!
Not so much a story as a vent...
I am about 6 1/2 months pregnant now and I've gained about 12 pounds thus far. Instead of people saying how you feeling or even you look good (even if I don't) there are 2 women in my office that insist on telling me things like "Whoa you really popped", "Look at you, you are wearing your pregnancy all around" and etc...
Now I am still in my regular pants (with the help of a belly band) and I can still wear some of my own tops. Why can't people, especially women, just say you look good, or don't say anything at all. I don't look at them and say "Whoa, those pants make your ars look huge"
Vent Over...!
I think you are absolutely amazing for still wearing original-sized pants and tops. Tell them to get a hobby!
my MIL used to say that i carried baby very "round"....and that she carried her son all in front. ?i have no idea what it meant, but i took it as an insult!!!?
Next time someone says something like that to you just reply,...
"I'm pregnant what's your excuse?" And then walk away.
Blame it on hormones later on.
