okay, i finally made an appointment to get my hair did.
i'm so sick of my no-shape, no-style, horrid growing-out hair. blech.
i've been liking felicity huffman's 'do on desperate housewives this season, though. simple, classic bob with some layers for movement. it's not a whole lot different from what i have/had, but i think it'll make just enough of a difference to keep me happy for a while. wdyt?

Wah, I guess I have a bit of a mom do, because mine is very similar to this. Biggest difference is I have enough hair on my head for a small village. Hence, I have a ton of layers. I love it, fairly easy to do (I use a round brush to tuck my ends under a bit, due to the massive amounts and layers) and looks good. I get a ton of compliments on it ... but right now my grow out is hell. It's lost it's shape for some reason ... I go on Saturday to get that fixed.
No one has ever told me it looks like a mom do ... and I'm not a mom ... but I am 32 so who knows!
It's nice...for a 47-year-old.

I think it would be *okay* if you have a lot of body/movement in your hair...but if not it could end up looking really dowdy and flat.
I think I too, prefer the posh/mboc cut on you, that looked fab!
