H was conned into buying some. "We are almost to our daily quota" they told him. So he spent $8 on two teeny boxes of cookies that I can't eat anyway.

    Tell me about it. They've been at our grocery store the past few weekends, and I just tell them no thank you. I send out H to pick up some stuff, and he calls me as he gets there, very distressed, "They girl scouts are still here!" Cookies are his major weakness. I think I need to brave grocery duty alone until they go away.

    That's why I only buy DH the ones I don't like...  There's not much that could make me eat a box of Samoas/Cara-gross-mel De-Lites.  (I really dislike caramel.)

    I don't think DH is a sucker. I'd rather believe that girl scouts are evil Devil !

    Damn them and their songs/ ugly uniforms.

    Oh by the way, I'm not bitter.  The brown socks w/ orange tassels and matching scull cap looked fab one me when I was little Sad.

    Yesterday they literally tried to block my way down the path out to my car. Two of them teamed up and stood in the path together laughing and asking me again. I persevered though. Even though I was a girl scout for years I wanted to beat them down. No cookies for me!
