ShanWill - pregnancy vent
I saw your reply below and chuckled because I get the same type of comments. Of course at the viewing last night and today and the funeral I got SO many comments - "wow, you look like you're ready to go in a few weeks". Seriously?! I'm not that big!! I've actually only gained about 12-15 lbs, too. Then I got - "you sure you're not having twins". And the random strangers (not close friends/family - people my H barely knew) touching my stomach! Ugh.
fun stuff!
Re: ShanWill - pregnancy vent
I totally understand...When random people touch my stomach I want to swat their hand away. I don't go around grabbing other people's stomach's and rubbing them. The comments really bother me when they come from women...Women telling other women that they look big, pregnant or not, they should no better. Stop, think, then speak!
:: Butting in::
One of my work friends was preggers and I always asked her if I could touch her belly. I'm dreading the fact that people will think they can touch me at will when i'm preggers.
Next time one of those jacka$$ say those things to you ask them when THEY are due, tell them "It looks like you put on a little sympathy weight",
